Professional Accounting

The Master of Professional Accounting prepares students for practice as professional accountants. Students develop analytical, general small business direction and problem solving abilities, and gain a comprehensive comprehension of accounting practice. Studies focus on financial and management accounting, finance, commercial law, tax law and auditing as well as contemporary research and real-life case studies with the opportunity to complete an industry placement in Australia or overseas. Students graduate well equipped for a global livelihood, knowledgeable about areas such as tax, financial management, and public practice.

The Application is accredited by Chartered Accountants Australia and Also Newzealand and satisfies the educational requirements for Entrance into the Chartered Accountants Program. It's also accredited by CPA Australia and meets the educational requirements for entry into the CPA Program.

• Completed bachelor degree, graduate degree or graduate certificate from a recognised higher education institution
• Applicants that have completed a bachelor degree in a business field, a bachelor degree with a major in business, trade, marketing or management or a graduate certificate in a business field, are eligible to join the program with 0.5 EFTSL (18 units) Advanced Reputation and complete the program in 1.5 decades of full time study or equivalent. International students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained the required standards before admission.
