The Master of Professional Psychology prepares selected psychology scholars who have successfully completed an APAC accredited fourth year course in psychology to gain the awareness and skills to meet up with the core skills and characteristics necessary to training being a psychologist. The eight competencies include the wisdom and skills to research, analyse, articulate and synthesise psychology being a systematic body of knowledge. Students learn a range of signs centered psychotherapies and interventions, gain professional experience through 300 hours of supervised practice with a range of client groups and life-span difficulties. This consists of gaining the experience and skills to manage and interpret a comprehensive array of psychological tests and examinations. The purpose of the course is to present an overall education in the professional practice of psychology, such that the graduate will be eligible to obtain registration as a provisional psychologist with all the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA), via the 5+1 pathway. Students may also be enrolled spammers trying to upgrade their qualifications. This fifth season has been designed especially to meet APAC and PsyBA guidelines for such courses. In conclusion, students are required to sit the National Psychology Examination.

This program is presently under examination and also software won't be accepted until the course received accreditation by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC).

Applicants should have successfully completed an (APAC) licensed fourth year course in psychology, and also be permitted carry standardised registration as a psychologist using the Psychology Bard of all Australia. Upon commencing the program, students must qualify for provisional registration as a psychologist with the PsyBA, give a replica of a recent Police Check and also a Working with Children Check. International students should have an IELTS score of 7.00 with a minimum in each group of seven.
