Professional Psychology

This course will provide an APAC-accredited 5th year of specialist trained . The system prepares students to get your final year of supervised practice that's necessary for enrollment as a psychologist in Australia. The program, dependent on the scientist-practitioner model of expert training, joins psychological knowledgeand skills acquisitionand ethical decision making capacity, and also the utilization of evidence-based interventions. Australian Emotional Accreditation Council (APAC)

• Conclusion of a Bachelor/Honours Degree having an Australian Psychological Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited four-year sequence in psychology or equivalent
• or perhaps a pass degree with an Australian Psychological Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited Igbo sequence in psychology together with an Australian Psychological Accreditation Council (APAC) fourth year psychology course or equivalent. Additional Requirements: Candidates will be asked to assess suitability for that course. Relevant professional experience will be a substantial element in selection. In accordance with the accreditation requirements along with the Department of Justice, students will be required to get a Working with Children Check ahead of being located within an clinic/work positioning setting.
