Psychology

Students will be introduced into interviewing and intervention plans, biological and neuropsychological perspectives on disorders, psychological assessment and therapies, ethics and problems in professional practice, as well as higher level research procedures. In addition to this coursework, students will undertake a selection of clinical placements and complete a thesis in a place linked to cognitive psychology.

This Program is Licensed by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and Is Currently approved by the Australian Psychological Society College of Clinical Psychologists.

Successful completion within the last ten years of an APAC licensed Honours year in Psychology with Honours top 2A. Applicants who have met the academic threshold will soon be reached from Charles Darwin University to provide two referee reports, including a cv, and a letter regarding why they want to know more about the CDU class. Selected applicants will be further contacted to go to an interview that might be held personally or by Skype.
