The programme emphasises the inter-professional perspective of safeguarding children and young people to provide a more specialised and advanced education which addresses local, national and international issues. This will be achieved within a framework of current research, legislation and contemporary policy thus enabling the student to critically appraise the evidence base for their own and others practice.
