La Trobe's Master of Social Work is for graduates of different disciplines who wish to move into social work from a related area. The course will instruct you to perform in direct practice, social policy, social research, organisational preparation and administration, and to conduct effective community work.Studying with enthusiastic students from the selection of areas, our schedule will inspire one to draw your relevant experience and challenge the way you believe. Throughout the course, you'll be guided by highly qualified teaching staff with a wealth of industry experience. You'll create new connections to grow your programs, and acquire the skills you will need to step to a professional clinic career in social work.Our program is based on a doctrine of justice. You'll build the information and expertise to work efficiently in a selection of social policy, community and direct practice areas in the us government, private and community sectors.
The Master of Social Work is accredited by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Supporters of the Master of Social Work may apply for membership with the AASW. Membership could be susceptible to additional or ongoing requirements beyond finishing the amount. Please contact the relevant body such as details.
