The Master of Social Work (Qualifying) course is a mid-year entry, fasttrack option to learning to be a social worker for those who hold a bachelor degree in an associated field. Social work draws on knowledge from the selection of disciplines including sociology psychology, politics, philosophy, health and economics. Social workers are committed to social justice, individual rights and societal change. They utilize and alongside individuals, groups and communities to improve people's quality of life, promote positive connections, and advocate for individual rights. The course focuses on the way folks understand and socialize with one another, their communities and society.
