Make an advocate for social justice and human rights. Make a real difference to the lives of people in need. This program will prepare students to successfully work across community and human services in regulators, non-government businesses, community and health services no matter what their background. Students will turn out to be confident dealing with migrants, people with alcohol, drug and mental health issues and at palliative care, child protection, youth services and a whole lot more. They will soon be subjected to challenging real life situations through 140 days during their studies from social work preferences, being mentored by experienced practitioners within the area. Next, once they graduate, students can carry on to be a professional social worker, simply take up government positions or work from domestic or worldwide policy improvement.
Provisional accreditation, that directs pupils to be eligible for memberships of their Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Successful completion of a relevant Bachelor level at the last ten decades. Relevant Bachelor degree needs to have as a big discipline any of the following: social wellbeing, community work, sociology, psychology, nursing, and education, criminal justice, international studies, native studies. Recent Police Check Dealing together with Children's Check is necessary. Academic IELTS with an Overall score of 7.0 or equivalent. please be aware: Academic IELTS entry requirements are subject to version as set out by AASW. Please check with AASW for more information during the right time of application.
