This qualification is part of the Metal and Engineering Training Package. It is for people aiming at job at the metal and engineering industry in jobs at engineering tech level carrying out tasks as technology design and caliber control/assurance monitoring. Students will acquire compulsory competencies in construction and assessing information, interacting with computing technology and selecting engineering stuff. They will also acquire a range of elective competencies current or planned job, such as CAD, drafting, quality control/assurance, basic liquid electricity, basic mechanical layout, production scheduling, cost estimating and non-destructive analyzing.
