During the Master's programme in Accountancy and Control, you will learn to analyse, interpret and research the flows of financial information within and across organisations.

The Control track emphasises the role that information plays in the management of organisations, focusing on both departments and people. Control is therefore about managing organisations (and not checking data): how to make sure the organisation reaches its goals? The Control programme comprises courses in Management Accounting (a quantitative approach to accounting and control), Corporate Finance and Management Control Research, which reviews academic research in the Management Control field. The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at the UvA specialises in providing students with the broad range of skills, in-depth knowledge and international expertise they will need in the business world and the public sector. One of the five research programmes is dedicated to Accounting, and students in the MSc in Accountancy & Control benefit from learning in an environment where developments in the field are constantly being explored.
