    Peoples consumption is constantly changing, and so must businesses and public authorities to successfully communicate their products and services. This programme provides you with the theory and tool set necessary to help companies and organisations spot the future and get there first.

    This programme will train your ability to analyze societal shifts, trends and their interplay with consumption and brands. You will gain skills that are essential for companies to be able to develop new innovations that raise profits and ideally improve the world in terms of sustainability.

    You will gain insight and knowledge of consumers from a cultural perspective, focusing on future scenarios of the surrounding world, consumers, and the high-level societal changes that influence consumption on a global and local level.

    We offer you ample opportunities to dive deeper into consumer and market insight and methods for collecting information about consumer trends, simultaneously as you deepen your understanding of brands and business relationships.

    Case studies are an integral part of the programme and ensure that you are able to practice what you have learned on real world problems from internationally leading companies and brands.

    Your future careerAs a graduate you can seek positions in international firms within marketing, strategy, brand and product man­agement, sales and marketing research. You will be able to help business gain insight by providing them with trend analysis, consumer and marketing research, business intelligence, scenario planning, strategy and innovation.

    Courses includedThe course consists of four parts (in total 60 ECTS credits):

    * Part I: Consumer Culture Theory and Consumer Insights (10 credits) and From Consumer Insight to Innovation (5 credits)

    * Part II: As electives three of the following: Retailing management (5 credits), Understandin consumption (5 credits), Marketing Intelligence theory and practice (5 credits), Corporate Brand; Management and Reputation (5 credits), Management-Strategy and Practice (5 credits), Modern; Quantitative Marketing Research Methods (5 credits)
    * Part III: Marketing Research Methods (7,5 credits), Internet Marketing, Brands and Consumers (7,5 credits)
    * Part IV: Degree project (15 credits)

    Erasmus Mundus Action 2Lund University is a partner in several Erasmus Mundus Action 2 "lots".If you are from an eligible country you can apply for a scholarship to come to Lund University. Scholarships are available to academic staff, PhD students, Master's students and Bachelor's students and can cover both tuition fees and living expenses.

    Swedish Institute scholarshipsThe Swedish Institute offers several scholarship programmes for international students studying at Bachelor's, Master's, PhD and post-doctoral levels.

    Swedish Institute Study Scholarship:

    The Swedish Institute Study Scholarships target highly qualified students across two categories:

    Category 1: Students from the following 12 developing countries: Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. Category 2: Students with citizenship from countries on the DAC list (note there are some exceptions).

    US Student FinanceLund University is a participating institution in the US Government Federal William D. Ford Direct Loan Program for undergraduate, Masters and doctoral programmes.
