The technical component is made up of 48.0 credits of coursework and major projects. This includes core courses, specialty courses (depth in a specific area), technical electives (breadth in additional areas), and management electives. The major projects allow the student to apply specialty knowledge in a real-life project, study, or applied research project. The second component consists of 12.0 credits of Liberal Studies coursework.The Bachelor of Technology in Computer Systems is offered in a flexible delivery format to serve the needs of working professionals. Candidates can take course loads ranging from a minimum of three courses per year to an equivalent of a full-time program of studies. Most courses are offered in the evening or on weekends.
