The Peace and Conflict Studies program explores why conflict and violence occurs, and to understand how conflict can be transformed by "collaborative decision-making" to accomplish constructive ends. We inspire our students to understand new perspectives to approach towards interdisciplinary conflicts.

The Peace and Conflict Studies program at the University of Waterloo is flexible to meet your interests. Our courses are designed to challenge your thinking and compliment your academic goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum B average in an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 6 units in the social sciences, including 10 specified courses from the Renison curriculum or their equivalents.
  • If your first language is not English, you may need to meet ourEnglish language requirements.Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) - Test Of English as a Foreign Language min 90, IELTS Academic - International English Language Testing System  min 7.0. 
  • An Admission Information Form must be filled out for this program.
