This program provides students with integrated instruction in both exploration/applied geology and commerce. It provides dual qualifications in these areas and develops graduates with unique opportunities to acquire employment in resource development and related fields including natural resource management. The Bachelor of Commerce places an emphasis on conclusion, trends in technology and associated work patterns along with other aspects of management in a highly competitive business field. The software reveal both theoretical concepts as well as the use of knowledge to commerce and industry. The finance major includes corporate finance, banking institutions and financial markets and can be relevant to many areas of resource enhancement projects completed by exploration companies.

This course is accredited by the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. Graduates are eligible to apply for membership with the Australian Institute of Geoscientists, the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Geological Society of Australia.
