This 60-credit point class is for individuals wanting to grow or extend knowledge and skills in archaeology and a pathway to the Graduate Diploma and Masters of Professional Archaeology. The class provides a broad understanding of historical information and skills in addition to research abilities. It's particularly helpful for people who have not previously undertaken tertiary studies in archaeology.
- The minimum entrance requirement of a Graduate Certification is successful completion of an Australian Bachelor degree (or its equivalent)
- Ahead learning developed through relevant work experience or professional certification, where it's deemed to be at least equivalent to that obtained through a Bachelor degree, may be contemplated
- In producing an offer to an applicant, the University will give consideration to a range of factors, including academic record, English proficiency, and/or employment experience
- NB: Meeting minimum requirements will not guarantee that an offer of a place
- Entry in to all La Trobe classes relies on competitive selection and there may be limited places available.
