Description

Our Bachelor of Business Administration is a three-year course offering a holistic understanding of contemporary themes in modern business management. We cover a range of issues reflecting modern management practice, including entrepreneurship, innovation, marketing, finance, technology management, international business and human resources. We develop high quality, entrepreneurial management professionals with the ability to lead different types of business ventures where innovation, networks, ethics and sustainability are the key drivers of change.

Your first year provides the foundation for business studies covering business economics, accounting, finance, entrepreneurship and marketing. Your second year offers more specialised knowledge on some of the most contemporary themes in management, supported by a generic business research methods module. In your final year, you gain a holistic understanding of business and entrepreneurial issues around business strategy, development of entrepreneurial ventures, business ethics and law. Moreover, you have the opportunity to choose options in human resources and international business, marketing and finance..

Course Content

Our courses are characterised by choice and flexibility. Requirements

  • A-levels: ABB-BBB
  • GCSE Mathematics: C
  • GCSE English: C
  • IB: 32-30 points, including Standard Mathematics grade 4 (we consider IB certificates at the Higher level on a case-by-case basis)
  • BTEC qualifications, in relevant disciplines, will be considered on an individual basis, depending on the units studied. The standard required is generally at Distinction level.
  • Achievement of the Access to HE Diploma with a minimum of 6 level three credits at distinction and the remainder at merit (or above) or achievement of the Access to HE Diploma with a minimum of 45 level three credits at merit (or above).

English language requirements for applicants whose first language is not English: IELTS 6.0 overall with minimum 5.5 in each component (or equivalent). Different requirements apply for second year entry.
