Catholic Studies

At CPC students study imaginative literature, philosophy, theology, history, the arts and various media, and are taught how to engage with the ChurchпПХs tradition and the entire heritage of western civilization in order to evaluate what human beings in preceding generations have counted as wisdom.Students approach Catholic studies with a biblical, theological, and philosophical foundation as they learn about various topics such as Catholic spirituality, ecumenical dialogue, and the early Church Fathers. Catholic studies students take part in fellowship with each other by having pancake dinners, bowling trips, movie nights, and attending Mass. Keynote speakers who discuss topics on theology and philosophy also come to CPC for students to attend and learn from.
