The Master of Child Play Therapy compels you to support children's psychosocial and emotional health and wellbeing through play. Even adults with years of life experience may find it difficult to function with difficult feelings associated with mental health, injury, self-esteem and relationships. If it involves kids, notably those without well-developed coping abilities, these feelings often leads to problematic behavior. Play therapy is increasingly being used as a way of helping kids overcome these issues and make sense of the experiences. whilst the program is handily delivered to our premium online learning platform, letting you study in your pace, there are various opportunities to employ your skills through practical instruction in your community. Candidates will be eligible to apply to become a Registered Play Therapist with the Australasia Pacific Play Therapy Association (APPTA).
Entry will be determined by performance in Bachelor Degree or higher in a related discipline or Bachelor Degree or higher in any field AND two years relevant work experience or evidence of instructional capability judged to be equivalent.
