Combine this with comprehension about how communication can successfully disseminate messages and influence human behaviour, and students may develop the capability to execute strategies that promote healthy life style decisions , avoid the spread of infectious disease and improve education. This course provides opportunities for professional positioning which may be completed locally or over seas. Graduates can act as health communications specialists, publish and online editors, or even in health products promotion and marketing.

Candidates are eligible for membership of the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA) and the Australian Health Promotion Association (AHPA).
