Dance Education

Do you have a passion for dance and wish to pursue related studies? This program examines the historical and cultural contexts of dance and explores the role of dance in educational, recreational and theatrical settings. The study of creative dance and the related areas of anatomy, biomechanics, choreography, curriculum, movement and notation prepares students to lead dance experiences for all ages.This degree is only granted concurrently with, or after completion of, the Bachelor of Education (Arts Education).
