Design and Business

The Bachelor of Design / Bachelor of Company equips students with the knowledge and skills needed for a lifetime career that encompasses the dynamic and challenging region of design and business sectors. By job this dual degree, graduates should have the ability to capitalise on opportunities at both the design and business occupations.

• Year 12 or equivalent
• VCE prerequisites: Units 3 and 4: a minimum study score of 25 in English (or equivalent) or 30 in English (EAL)
• And Units 3 and 4: a minimum study score of 20 in Another of Art, Interactive Digital Media C or VCE VET Creative and Digital Media, Media, Product Design and Technology, Studio Arts or Visual Communication Design.
  Additional performance criteria and prerequisite requirements can also apply. English language requirements - satisfactory conclusion of one of the following: Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 higher degree ) with overall 65%, all of skills 65 percent
• Minimum IELTS overall group of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no single band below 6.0
• TOEFL iBT (internet-based) minimum score of 75 having a hearing band at least 18 and writing band at least 20
• Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 50 (no real skills significantly less than 50)
• every other equivalent assessment of English language proficiency. Note: A necessity for many classes, the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) can now be done on campus in Hawthorn.
