The Rady School of Management at UC San Diego is now accepting applications for the Master of Financedegree. The one-year Master of Finance provides rigorous, hands-on training preparing graduates to immediately contribute in environments where quantitative and analytical skills are at a premium. Students learn cutting-edge methods for analyzing "big data" for financial decision making and risk management. The programs emphasis on quantitative models and methods ensures graduates are equipped to develop innovative solutions to the complex problems facing the financial industry.
The year-long program emphasizes rigorous training in empirical finance, quantitative methods, financial econometrics, data analysis and risk management. Students are given a solid foundation in econometric modeling and empirical finance. This program satisfies the growing demand for graduates who are able to understand and implement financial models and to innovate and improve upon current empirical methods using structured and non-structured data.

Rady provides limited fellowship support to exceptional individuals. All domestic and international admitted students are considered for merit-based fellowships upon admission. No additional application is required. Applicants awarded Rady fellowships are notified in writing with their admission letter.
