UNB Saint John offers the introductory year(s) of the UNB Engineering programs. As part of the UNB family, you will transfer easily to UNB Fredericton to complete your program for a total of four years of full-time study. You can choose to take part in the Co-op program (organized by academic term) or the Professional Experience Program (organized for the length of an engineering project). Participation may add time to your degree, but will definitely add experience and perspective.Geological engineers use the earth sciences to locate and extract energy and mineral resources from the earth's crust, to design foundations for major construction projects and to protect the environment from pollution.
