The Bachelor of Health Science / Bachelor of Science offers students the skills, wisdom and key theoretical insights required to perform in a selection of professional scientific environments and establish a livelihood promoting wellness and health. Research Australian and international health and fitness challenges. Examine the physical, psychological and social aspects of health in an assortment of settings. A distinctive feature of the program is that the practical application of knowledge through project-based components of analysis. Tailor the degree and produce a unique assortment of interdisciplinary skills. Learn about current problems in health care, including tubal testing or health communicating, and how to address them. Students apply learning in a professionally focused, multi disciplinary project during the final year of analysis.
- Year 12 or equivalent
- VCE prerequisites: Units 3 and 4: the absolute minimum study score of 25 in English (or equivalent) or 30 in English (EAL)
- And Units 3 and 4: the absolute minimum study score of 20 in virtually any Mathematics. Additional performance criteria and prerequisite requirements may also apply. Students selecting the Major in Biomedical and Clinical Technologies have to have completed some prior study in math. English language requirements - satisfactory conclusion of one of these following: Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 advanced level level) with overall 65%, all of skills 65%
- Minimum IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0
- TOEFL iBT (internet-based) minimum score of 75 using a hearing ring a minimum of 18 and writing ring a minimum of 20
- Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 50 (no real skills significantly less than 50)
- Any other equivalent assessment of English language proficiency. Notice: A prerequisite for several classes, the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) can now be done online campus in Hawthorn.
