Nutritional Medicine practitioners have a solid understanding of how nutritional, dietary and lifestyle factors influence health during our lifespan. They develop treatment plans for their patients to boost their health and health, and seek to educate public or community members on the effect of food choices from the care of health and treatment of disease. Students will build an understanding of nutritional science, including food constituents, contaminants, food, health and policy, food pharmacy and therapeutic supplements as well as lifespan nutrition and general health, permitting them to present holistic therapeutic treatment plans.
