High Performance Sport

The Accreditation Certificate in highperformance Sport is designed for students from diverse backgrounds and delivered with flexible learning techniques appropriate for working professionals, domestic students and global students. The program structure enables full-time or part-time study by which students can commence in either Autumn or Spring semester to perform four subjects. This nested course architecture gives a solid understanding of the knowledge and techniques necessary in almost any high performance sport career whilst offering the opportunity to progress and recreate knowledge and skills development at an advanced level. The course is developed and delivered in cooperation with industry experts from the field, with each subject comprising a mixture of theory and evidence-based practice. Research-inspired course material is delivered by world-leading academics and industry partners, that permits students to employ an higher degree of understanding and knowledge to a range of subjects that matches the diverse demands of the top performance sport industry. Graduates enter the work force as effective practitioners capable of directing, managing and inspiring within the field.

• Applicants should have completed an UTS approved bachelor's degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or filed other evidence of general and professional qualifications that shows potential to pursue graduate studies. The Language proficiency requirement for global students or community applicants with international qualifications is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0
• Or TOEFL: newspaper based: 550-583 complete with TWE of 4.5, internet based: 79-93 complete with a writing score of 2-1
• Or AE5: Walk
• Or PTE: 58-64
• Or CAE: 176-184. Qualification for entry doesn't guarantee offer of a spot.
