The Master of International Public Health (Extension) provides students with the advanced level disciplinary knowledge and technical capacities to contribute to disease control, health promotion, healthcare development, and public health research over a wide range of populations and countries. The program promotes sophisticated understanding and techniques that can be put on a wide selection of highly complex public health issues in global health. Graduates are equipped with specialised skills required for research and professional training to work globally in health areas, together with government and non-government organisations, and with international and bi lateral aid agencies at both the public and private businesses. The program boosts judgment-ready professionals who can contribute to improving public health effects in varied and specific settings drawing a global wellness perspective.
- Applicants are required to have either: an under graduate degree in a field applicable to public health or health direction (see list below)
- And 2 years full-time professional or volunteer experience. This may also include equivalent professional experience acquired as part of a level of 4 or more years interval (e.g. MBBS, MD)
- Or an under graduate degree plus an honours or post graduate level in a field applicable to public health or health direction (see list below)
