Journalism and Communication

The Master of Journalism and Communication in UNSW provides students with a thorough education in journalism, media studies and communication. Post graduate programs will empower students to build up specialist knowledge of the social, political and economic role of media in Australia and globally. They will be encouraged to reflect varied international approaches to media and communication practice, and will get an understanding of the changing nature of this convergent networking landscape. • Inch year old plan: Honours degree or Graduate Diploma or equivalent in a relevant field with a record of academic achievement comparable to UNSW credit average (65%)
• or doctorate level or equivalent in a relevant field with a record of academic achievement comparable to UNSW credit average (65%) plus 12 months relevant industry experience. 1.5-year program: Bachelor degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline with a record of academic accomplishment equal to UNSW credit average (65%)
• Or doctorate level or equivalent in any field with a list of academic accomplishment equal to UNSW credit average (65%) plus 1 year relevant industry expertise
• Or Honours degree or Graduate Diploma or equivalent in any field with a list of academic accomplishment equal to UNSW credit average (65%)
