This course covers the vital areas of knowledge required for a registered landscape architect. With a number of modes of engagement and learning you will benefit from hands on design studios comprising industry engagement and realworld scenarios to get technical knowledge, experience and skills. Theory based units can encourage you to research vital social topics and discover how landscape architects can be more proactive and contribute to sustainable natural and built environments. early stages of the course research landscape histories; plants for natural and urban systems and how to create climate usable landscapes. You'll get an understanding of research plans in sustainable and design urban structure, including how Indigenous culture in Australia affects landscape architectural and architectural structure. Later in your level you'll engage in studies affecting management and planning of special design projects and subscribe to interdisciplinary teams of built environment professionals. Throughout the course, you're engage in hands on intensive studio components which research the notion of'play' in urban design spaces and demand real-world industry-directed design briefs that investigate environmental change and social justice concerns. At the final stages of the course, you can complete a thesis project that will represent a proposed intervention at the actual world which can produce a substantial contribution to the area of landscape structure.
