Course Content
Compulsory courses: The first part of the three-year programme stretches over three semesters and covers basic training in algebra and mathematical analysis in one and
several variables, basic physics and a short introduction to other science subjects.
Electives: The content of the second part of the programme depends on the chosen area of interest and can, for instance, consist of courses in mathematics, mathematical
statistics, numerical analysis, physics, computer science or economics. The programme ends with a Bachelors degree project on a topic of interest chosen in consultation with a supervisor.

For this programme, we recommend that students have English B (advanced) language proficiency and that they demonstrate their proficiency in one of the following ways:
- IELTS score of 6.5 (with no section less than 5.5)
- TOEFL paper-based score of 4.5 (scale 1-6) in written test and a total score of 575; internet based score of 20 (scale 0-30) in written test and a total score of 90
- Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English
- A Bachelors degree from a university where English is the only language of instruction, according to the International Handbook of Universities
- A pass on English course B (Swedish upper secondary school).
