This double degree program combines the Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronics) Honours course with the Bachelor of Technology (motor sports ) class ) Mechatronics technology is that the integration of electrical, electronic and computing technology with mechanical technology, allowing the growth of intelligent machines along with high level manufacturing and processing systems. Aspects of analysis within mechatronics include mechanics, computer-aided layout and manufacturing, analogue and digital electronics, signal analysis, electromechanical systems, advanced materials, detector technology, automatic control, robotics, system design and creation, and project management. The class produces engineers with strong competencies in electrical, electronic, computer and mechanical technology, who is able to participate in and lead complex, multidisciplinary projects.The motor sports component farther develops technology work-related abilities, as well as the technical, financial and management skills associated with manufacturing businesses generally, and the motor sports industry specifically. Students gain a sound comprehension of the entire layout, simulation and manufacturing procedures and management issues related to the manufacturing businesses, with special focus on motor sports. Students also have the chance to further develop competencies throughout the supply of extra curricular tasks to help progression in to the motor sports industry.

University entry requirements apply. All applicants need to possess Mathematics: Procedures ATAR, with equivalents believed, and Profession ATAR or Engineering Studies ATAR, using equivalents considered. It is desirable that all applicants possess Mathematics: Specialist ATAR, with equivalents considered.
