Mennonite Studies is an interdisciplinary program that combines studies in history with religion, culture, and literature as they relate to the Mennonites. Through small and student-friendly courses and seminars you will explore the past and present culture of the Mennonites, especially their deeply-rooted commitment to peace and non-violence. The question of how the Mennonites evolved from the radical 16th century Anabaptists to a globalized people seeking peace, community, and justice is a major part of the program.It is possible to obtain a BachelorпПХs degree with a major in Mennonite Studies by creating a Flexible Major in consultation with the Chair in Mennonite Studies.
