This qualification is for occupational outcomes from the Performance Horse industry. Job roles may consist of stable hand; lace hands; dress or strapper; farm hand; stock rider; or even trail-ride assistant. The qualification relates to those who undertake routine tasks under minimal supervision with responsibility to their work.The qualification covers the knowledge and skills required to work closely with horses, so it needs feeding, handling, exercising and looking after horses for example stable responsibilities, and fitting equipment, rotational and non-ridden horse work, work, contest and transportation requirements.This qualification encompasses riding and driving sectors of the operation horse industry.No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements affect the qualification during the time of publication.
