The objectives of this Master's degree in Social and LabourRights is to provide the contents needed for professionals in the area of social and labourrights, and for researchers seeking quality training and the possibility to continue on to doctoral programmes.

Labour and social protection laws, as a legal discipline, requires qualified research personnel with abilities in perfecting regulations, formulating interpretation proposals and adapting in coordination withsocial and labour laws at supra-state and international level.

At the same time, the university sector finds it essential to design training specialisations which allow graduates to acquire research skills which later can be further developed through master's degrees and doctoral programmes, with the aim of training doctors in this legal discipline.

Social changes occur with such speed and intensity that there is a need to provide support with advanced studies adapted to the present and future needs of the labour force, as well as to the need of promoting research in the university sector.
