Being an RMIT double level student, you'll unite the complementary areas of sustainable systems industrial and engineering design to give you a head start in the industry. The program consists of center sustainable systems industrial and engineering design, along with optional courses that will help you develop specialist skills in areas of specific interest for you. Sustainable systems engineering studies will focus on math, engineering design and engineering professional practice together with specialisations in energy or logistics and transport. Industrial design has four center study flows for example design studies and expert training; communications; technology; and design studio. A considerable capstone project is performed in the final year, providing an opportunity to incorporate industrial and engineering design capacities. Additionally, design studios offer research and design project experiences where real world endeavors are undertaken.

This program is provisionally accredited by Engineers Australia. Total accreditation will be sought with this particular program just as it's feasible to do so within the certification timelines set by Engineers Australia. Once it's fully licensed, graduates of this application will qualify for graduate membership of Engineers Australia. Australia is among 15 countries that are signatories to the International Engineering Alliance, also known as the Washington Accord, to get professional engineers. Up on full certification of this program, pupils can have their eligibility recognised in most of 18 countries that are signatories to the Accord, giving you the possibility to work in states like the USA, UK, China, New Zealand, Japan, Korea and Singapore.
