Supplementary modules or lab rotations abroad can be integrated in the individual profile.

Internships

Two research projects (lab rotations, total of 27 credits) are integrated into the programme. For these projects, many research labs at the University of Bremen and associated research institutions, such as the Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology, Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research, or Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Material Sciences, are available. These projects can also be done in research labs abroad.

Forms of assessment

Exam forms include written or oral exams, essays, reports, posters or presentations. Details are documented in the official exam regulations of the MSc programme and will be announced by the lecturer at the beginning of each module.
