Biotechnology (Advanced)

The Master of Biotechnology is a coursework program that provides a pathway for science graduates with background knowledge in biochemistry, molecular biology, and chemistry to acquire new knowledge or expand and update their theoretical and practical understanding of contemporary biotechnology. During the course, students have various opportunities to interface with scientists that are advancing research in aspects of biochemistry and molecular biology from the biomedical, plant and animal sciences. The high level program incorporates a study project and thesis.

• A Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a GPA of 5.5/7.0 and at least 8 courses in cognate Areas and two courses in the field of chemistry
• Cognate Areas: Biological chemistry, biomedical sciences, molecular genetics, and plant sciences
• English language requirements
