This qualification reflects the role of commercial cooks using a wide array of well-developed cookery skills and sound knowledge of kitchen operations to organize menu and food items. Working with discretion and decision making, they utilize some autonomy and under limited supervision using policies, strategies and procedures to guide work activities.This qualification provides a pathway to work as a commercial cook from organisations such as restaurants, hotelsand nightclubs, bars, caf\u00e9s, and coffee shops.No occupational licensing, and certificate or specific legislative requirements apply to the qualification at the time of book.
