Commercial Cookery

This qualification reflects the function of commercial cooks using a vast variety of well-developed cookery expertise and sound understanding of kitchen operations to organize food and menu items. Using discretion and judgement, they work with some independence and under limited supervision using plans, policies and procedures to direct work activities.This eligibility provides a pathway to work as a business cook organisations such as restaurants, hotelsand nightclubs, bars, caf\u00e9s, along with coffee shops.No occupational licensing, and accreditation or special legislative requirements affect this eligibility at the time of book.
