Our Computing with IT Management course is ideal if you are interested in understanding and implementing effective IT solutions in a business setting. Youll develop your technical, analytical and strategic business skills, combining theory, tools, methods and management techniques to produce high quality, well integrated e-business solutions.

You will also develop a professional approach to IT project management, understanding of IT ethics, as well as social issues such as sustainability. You will develop practical design skills in the development of attractive and usable web sites and a sound understanding of research methods to underpin your dissertation. This provides you with a broad and well-balanced perspective, preparing you for an exciting career in the industry, or the foundation to go on to do further research.

You are encouraged to build on your previous background, perhaps using it as the base for particular projects or your dissertation. You benefit by drawing on your own experiences and those of the teaching staff, external contacts and fellow students. This will give you a solid grounding to follow in the footsteps of previous students who have gained promotion, created their own businesses or progressed to research degrees.

A good Honours Degree or equivalent in any subject or an appropriate postgraduate or professional qualification, and have a reasonable level of computer literacy. Employment experience may also be taken into account.
