If you have a degree in any discipline and would like to significantly enhance your career prospects in the wider business practice of accounting and financial management, this International Finance MA course is ideal. What will you study?
You will develop your understanding of the purpose and nature of financial accounting and reporting. You will look at the integration of theoretical and conceptual issues within the operational and practical activities of management accounting.

You will also look at the political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental factors that influence an organisation's social responsibilities and how they integrate with a company's strategic decision-making processes. In addition you will examine the core theories of finance and investment and how they can be used in practical decision-making contexts.

We welcome applications from those who possess a good honours degree (or equivalent) in any discipline.Those wishing to follow the pathway leading to GradICSA through the Corporate Governance MA must additionally satisfy the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) entrance requirements, as specified in their Access and Admissions Policy.Candidates with non-standard qualifications are welcome to apply, in which case evidence of satisfactory knowledge of relevant foundation subjects through the possession of an appropriate qualification, training, or work experience will be required.Holders of non-UK degrees will be subject to the University's normal entry procedures for equivalence of qualifications.What next?All eligible applicants will normally be invited to attend for selection assessment and interview, although alternative arrangements may be made in the case of international students for whom travel to the UK may present difficulties.
