International Ophthalmology aims to prevent blindness, promote eye health and rehabilitate those with a visual impairment in the near island nations. Students will be given with the center knowledge of ophthalmology having an increased exposure of the particular diseases and pathologies in these native nations. They will obtain practical skills for example knowledge on the prognosis and management of common eye conditions, diseases and injuries to your eye. The class offers the opportunity for extensive practical experience, for example performing ophthalmic surgery and treatment of post operative complications.
