The Kempten MBA is one of a few MBA programmes in Germany with an international EPAS accreditation. Only seven programmes in Germany have been accredited by the EFMD with an EPAS or EQUIS accreditation. This proves the academic rigour, the organisational excellence, and the strong international focus of the programme.
Graduates of the programme are prepared to work in a German company. Kempten is located in Bavaria, which has virtually no unemployment and offers a wide range of job opportunities for university graduates.
The MBA programme follows a general management approach. It covers all core business administration areas: accounting, economics, finance, human resources, supply chain management, marketing, strategy, and IT management. It provides an in-depth knowledge of modern management for non-business degree holders such as engineers and IT experts, as well as an update on international standards for business degree holders. You will be provided with the know-how to succeed in a management position by understanding business issues and by applying state-of-the-art management tools. The programme also offers highly valuable opportunities to achieve personal growth, as we are the leading business school in Bavaria. We pursue a structured enhancement of your leadership personality and skills and guide you through your personal development process. The General Management track of the MBA supports a strategic leadership role by offering additional insights in topics like entrepreneurship and process design. In order to prepare you for a specialist career, we offer three more specialisation tracks:

Participants in the MBA programme International Business Management and Leadership have a variety of different scheduling options to customise their individual MBA programme. The standard option is to study our programme in a full-time mode for 15 months, including the Master's thesis. You can start either in September or in March. You will join different part-time MBA groups for the seminars. Since most classes are offered at least twice per year, MBA participants can also set up an individual schedule and a mixture between part-time and full-time studies. Most classes are on the weekend, as we mix German part-time and international full-time students in our classes.
During the week, you will work on your assignments or participate in German classes or internships. Should you not be able to attend certain seminars for professional, family or personal reasons, these courses can be taken with one of our parallel MBA groups or re-taken during a subsequent semester.
