The Graduate Diploma of Nutrition is designed to build on undergraduate studies from medical insurance and related sciences to build up specialist knowledge, attitudes and skills relating to human nutrition and wellness. Successful graduates from this degree program are well-placed to succeed to further studies via the Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice to become qualified as a dietitian and receive whole credit for subjects studied within this system. This program is a useful premedical tool for pupils with aspirations to input specific medical programs, like a pathway into postgraduate specialisation in nutrition or to get internationally-educated dietitians requiring professional updates before applying for Australian eligibility recognition.

Graduates with this degree may qualify for registration as an'Associate Nutritionist' and after three years of relevant work experience may make an application to get'Registered Nutritionist' status. Please consult with the Nutrition Society of Australia for specifics. If students are seeking credentials to be a dietitian, subsequently refer to the Bond University Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice.
