Year abroad
You spend your year abroad on an approved work placement or studying at one of our partner institutions in Canada or the United States. Students studying at a partner university take approved modules equivalent to 120 Kent credits, leading to a total of 360 credits for Stages 2, A and 3. For further details of the modules available at our partner universities, please consult the relevant Academic Co-ordinator. You can obtain a list of co-ordinators from the Politics School office or the International Development office.

- Access to HE Diploma: The University of Kent will not necessarily make conditional offers to all access candidates but will continue to assess them on an individual basis. If an offer is made candidates will be required to obtain/pass the overall Access to Higher Education Diploma and may also be required to obtain a proportion of the total level 3 credits and/or credits in particular subjects at merit grade or above.
