Candidates for the program are either geographically distant from Gainesville or unable to take the time away from their jobs to take courses in the campus-based program.
The online MPH provides a concentration in Public Health Practice. (Other MPH concentrations are only available in our campus MPH program.) Highlights of the program include:

The University of Florida has been offering an online certificate in public health since 2006. We launched the online MPH program in January 2010, and both programs continue to grow. Our experience with online students has provided us with opportunities to adjust our online course delivery techniques to be as user-friendly as possible. The online MPH program is qualified for federal student financial aid provided that applicants meet the federal eligibility requirements.
Students must be at least half-time enrolled in each semester that they are requesting financial aid. Half-time enrollment is 5-credits for fall or spring semesters; 4-credits for summer semester.

Accreditation
Tthe College of Public Health and Health Professions is accredited by the Council on Education in Public Health (CEPH). All programs in public health offered by our college fall within this accreditation.
