  • You’ll engage with fundamental journalism practice – ethics, news, reporting and writing; working with multiple media forms including audio, video and web; and journalism innovation including aggregation, curation, social media and data journalism.
  • You’ll be encouraged to create and broadcast a range of audio, visual, textual and social media, allowing you to gain practical experience.

• Australian level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent in relevant field 
• GPA of 4.50 (out of 7.00)

English language requirements

IELTS of 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band, or equivalent

All applicants for undergraduate or postgraduate coursework studies at Macquarie University are required to provide evidence of proficiency in English.
