In contrast to the past, when general knowledge was initially required, followed subsequently by specialist knowledge (in finance, marketing, logistics, etc.), today both are increasingly in demand in corporate management. Managers must be able to lead highly specialised areas of responsibility in the company. On top of this, they also have to consider the effects of their activities on other fields in the management of the company. The objective of the Hohenheim Master's programme in Management is to impart general and specialist knowledge. Graduates of the Master's programme achieve an overview of the coherencies of the chosen subject area. They are able to apply advanced scientific methods and insights within a professional framework in their capacity as a manager or a scientist in various fields.
The double Master's degree programme imparts additional qualifications and prepares students for an increasingly global business environment. The programme especially enables students to develop intercultural competences and to acquire additional language proficiency.
