The globalization of business and the increase in competition while providing business school graduates with opportunities to be able to seek and find employment in international labor markets, demand that future business leaders are equipped with a mastery of relevant subject matter along with the knowledge of a foreign language.
The fundamental principle of educational pedagogy at AGU is to integrate the multi-faceted global challenges into the diverse functional areas of management. AGU not only aims to promote an understanding of the importance of global challenges among its student body but also encourages them to take active roles in finding solutions to global challenges. In accordance with the fundamental mission of the AGU, the BA Department aims to train its students as individuals with a global focus who are able to contribute to mankind in the struggle to make the world peaceful and equitable for all human beings. Hence, we aim to prepare our students as professionals whose skills and talents are sought for by not only public sector institutions but also private sector employers. AGU is one of the only three state universities in Turkey to teach its entire curriculum in English across all faculties.
AGU BA started accepting undergraduate students in 2013. Currently, the department has 4 full-time faculty members and 21 undergraduate students. The department is currently educating the students in modern classrooms and facilities located at the Sumer Campus.
