The new Master's degree course of study "Business Entrepreneurship and Digital Technology Management" within the current and well-established Master of Science programme in Business Administration is a profile-shaping programme for applicants with a focus on technology based entrepreneurship - with the key area of digitisation.
This course of study provides economical knowledge in core areas like finance, marketing, or law, but also in the field of development-oriented management (the contribution of digitisation to business development). It deepens the student's knowledge in the context of entrepreneurship related to the generation and implementation of new ideas. Students will be encouraged and challenged to take on responsibility during their Master's degree studies to act independently and in a goal-oriented manner.

Language requirements
Applicants must provide proof of good knowledge of both written and spoken English. Proof can be shown by one of the following:- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Internet-based, at least 89 points or
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS), at least 7.0 or
- Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC), at least 700 or
- Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE) or
- Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency (CPE) or
- Business English Certificate (BEC)
Academic requirements
A Bachelor's degree in business administration studies or a related discipline (a final mark of "good" or better is required, German grade: 2.4 or better)Evidence of 210 ECTS credits achieved out of a minimum of six theoretical semesters of a Bachelor's degree or German Diploma ("Diplom") programme is required.
If you have less than 210 ECTS but a minimum of 180 ECTS, you will have to obtain the missing ECTS during your Master's studies prior to the release of the subject of your Master's thesis (hence prior to the beginning of the third semester).
The applicant must provide proof of good knowledge of written and spoken English equivalent to language level "B2" established by the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Language testing requirements are waived if the applicant's mother tongue is English or if the applicant has attended high school or university in the English language. A high school or an university degree must serve as proof of this.
Evidence of a minimum of 10 ECTS credits of study modules in mathematics and statistics
Evidence of a minimum of 25 ECTS credits of study modules in finance and accounting OR 25 ECTS credits of study modules of the business functions such as marketing, logistics, innovation management, and project management
